How is your artwork printed?

After researching top museum-level printers, I chose one that has a 5-star rating for quality and customer service, and uses sustainable methods and materials. This fine art Giclée printer produces color-perfect prints on hand-picked archival paper using pro-grade technology. Prints have an archival life of 80+ years, use 11 inks for an ultra wide color gamut, and have a higher dot per square inch at 2880 x 1440 DPI.

The gorgeous, smooth cotton-based paper, Hahnemühle Photorag, has a matte finish and allows for muted blacks, excellent detail, an even color reproduction, and vibrant color gradients. I equate the texture and color to rich velvet.

Do you use sustainable methods?

The fine art paper manufacturers only use resources from sustainable forest management areas.

The print service is end-to-end carbon neutral, meaning they minimize their energy usage and use suppliers of renewable energy.

The packaging used for orders are a mixture of sustainably sourced, recyclable, or biodegradable.

Do you offer framing?

Not at this time. I recommend visiting a local frame shop that knows how to properly enhance and protect your art with quality frames, acid-free backing and matting, and non-glare, UV-resistant glass or acrylic.

Shipping

How are orders shipped?

Orders will ship via USPS or UPS depending on the size. You should receive a shipping notification from the delivery service, theprintspace inc, with tracking information. Note, the email will reference "Art Prints", and please check your Spam or Junk folder if you haven't received it.

What do I do if my order hasn't arrived?

If the artwork does not arrive by 10 business days and the shipper has not provided updates, please contact me. Be sure to include all related information provided by the shipper. Reach out to me directly at contact@kathleendonahue.com.

What do I do if my order arrives damaged?

​​In the unlikely event the order arrives damaged, please let me know within five business days of receiving your order so that it may be replaced free of charge. Please include photos of the damaged product and any other related information. My printer and I take pride in high-quality work and customer experience and want to ensure we meet our standards. Do you accept returns or offer refunds?

In the unlikely event of damaged items, you will receive a replacement free of charge. For this issue, please contact me within five business days of receiving your order.
